Grimm Audio announces PA1 monoblock amplifier for Vienna
The Dutch brand is bringing a new power-amplifier model to High End Vienna 2026. The demonstration places the PA1 within Grimm Audio’s own playback chain, with the MU2 used as source and preamplifier.

Grimm Audio will introduce the PA1, a new mono block power amplifier, at High End Vienna 2026. The launch gives the Dutch manufacturer a dedicated power-amplifier model to show alongside its existing streaming DAC and preamplifier platform.
The PA1 project traces back to the MU2, which Grimm Audio presented in Munich three years before its 2026 PA1 post. An early PA1 prototype was used for those MU2 demonstrations, and the company has since advanced the production concept through listening tests and schematic improvements.
The amplifier’s industrial design is by Michiel Uylings, whose work Grimm Audio associates with the MU1, MU2 and PW1. For the Vienna demonstration, the MU2 will serve as source and preamplifier for the PA1, placing the new monoblock in a complete Grimm Audio playback system.
High End Vienna 2026 is scheduled for 4 to 7 June 2026 at the Austria Center Vienna. Pricing, retail timing and final technical specifications for the PA1 have not been published in the confirmed launch information.
