Gadhouse introduces Eric portable CD player with Bluetooth

Gadhouse is launching a portable CD player with wireless audio transmission. The Gadhouse Eric portable CD player is scheduled to arrive on 9 November 2026, with Bluetooth connectivity for compatible headphones and speakers. Announced pricing is US$84.50 in the US and £59.99 in the UK.

Eric supports standard audio CDs, HQCD discs, CD-R and CD-RW media, as well as MP3 and WMA playback. It incorporates anti-skip technology to help maintain playback while the player is moving. A built-in FM radio provides another listening option without requiring a smartphone or an internet connection.

For wired listening, the player has two 3.5mm audio connections, allowing two people to listen simultaneously through separate headphones. Power comes from an integrated rechargeable battery, with Gadhouse claiming approximately four hours of playback per charge. Charging is handled through a USB-C connection.

The player measures 169 × 136 × 32mm and weighs approximately 308 grams. It has tactile controls and integrated mounting holes that allow it to be mounted on a wall.

Ivory is the launch finish, with additional colours planned for 2027. A bundle pairing Eric with Gadhouse Wesley headphones is also planned.
