FiiO has launched the FG3, its first dedicated over-ear gaming headset. The wired model uses a coaxial dual dynamic driver design and adds onboard DSP processing for virtual 7.1 surround sound. It launched in mainland China on 1 July 2026 at 399 yuan, with Apos selling it in the U.S. for $69.99.

The FG3 combines a 50mm dynamic driver with a 16mm dynamic driver and uses an electronic two-way crossover. Its integrated DAC supports up to 24-bit/192kHz audio, and its dedicated headphone amplifier delivers up to 80mW of output power. Dealer specifications put frequency response at 10Hz to 40kHz, impedance at 32 ohms and sensitivity at 100dB/mW at 1kHz.

The headset’s dual-core DSP chip handles virtual 7.1 surround processing, including Cinema and Action modes. FIIO Control WEB provides browser-based customization and supports a custom 10-band EQ. Voice functions include a detachable microphone with Environmental Noise Cancellation and hardware-based sidetone monitoring.

Platform support covers Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 and Windows 11. The FG3 also supports PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch systems through adaptive UAC 1.0 and UAC 2.0 modes. USB operation is driver-free for plug-and-play use, and FiiO’s launch material also identifies USB and 3.5mm connections.

The physical design uses a foldable frame and replaceable mesh ear cushions. The headset weighs about 315g including the microphone. International availability runs through FiiO’s AliExpress official store and local authorized sales agents.
