Apple has introduced HomeView, a smart-home entertainment hub. The A18-powered device has a 7-inch Liquid Retina display and comes in tabletop and wall-mounted configurations, each priced at US$299. Both become available on 13 November 2026 in Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, the UK and the US.

HomeView supports Spatial Audio, with different speaker arrangements for the two configurations. The tabletop model combines two custom full-range drivers in the display with a down-firing woofer and two force-cancelling passive radiators in its base. Its computational audio continuously adjusts loudness and bass response using Apple silicon and real-time system sensors. HomeView (Wall Mounted) has two custom drivers and computational audio tuned for on-wall placement.

Multiroom audio works with other HomeView units, HomePod, HomePod mini and AirPlay-compatible speakers. Handoff transfers music when an iPhone is placed in front of the display, while Apple Music playback includes animated album art and lyrics. HomeView also supports Apple Podcasts, Apple News, Apple TV and compatible third-party audio and video apps. FaceTime calls use Center Stage framing and require Wi-Fi and FaceTime-enabled devices for both the caller and recipient.

The True Tone display adapts its colour temperature to ambient lighting, with automatic brightness ranging from 0.3 to 500 nits. The interface adjusts its level of detail according to the user's distance from the screen and supports touchscreen control. Facial recognition provides personalised experiences for up to six users. Camera and microphone data are processed in Secure Exclaves isolated from the rest of the system.

Voice control operates through Siri AI, available in beta in HomeView software version 27.2. Personal-context requests require a paired Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone or iPad running the latest software, with Siri AI enabled in a supported language. Setup and multiuser support also require a compatible iPhone or iPad running the latest software. Certain server-side Apple Intelligence features are subject to daily usage limits.
