Acoustic Revive introduces MC-1 moving-coil cartridge
The MC-1 expands the Japanese analogue-audio specialist's portfolio. Its construction includes a samarium-cobalt magnet and a pure-rubber damper.

Acoustic Revive has introduced a new phono cartridge. The Acoustic Revive MC-1 is a moving-coil design with a specified output voltage of 0.24 mV. It was available by 5 September 2026.
The generator coil uses PC-TripleC/EX, a silver-copper hybrid forged conductor. The coil wire measures 0.04 mm in diameter and has a specified conductivity of 105% IACS. Silver-copper alloy is also used for the cartridge's terminal pins, where the specified conductivity is 98% IACS.
The MC-1's housing is made from acrylic resin impregnated with natural ore powder and is manufactured using 3D printing. For the stylus assembly, the cartridge pairs a MicroRidge diamond tip with a convergent carbon-fibre cantilever.
Electrical specifications include an internal impedance of 2.0 ohms and a frequency response extending from 10 Hz to 100 kHz. Channel separation is specified as greater than 30 dB at 1 kHz, with channel balance below 0.5 dB at the same frequency.
For setup, the MC-1 has a usable tracking-force range of 1.7 to 2.5 g, with a recommended setting of 2.0 g. The cartridge body weighs 10.2 g, while the stylus cover weighs 5.4 g.
