Rogers UK has announced the return of the PM510 S3 Monitor Loudspeaker, a passive loudspeaker based on the earlier Rogers PM510. The model is presented as a modern revival of a Rogers design derived from the BBC Active LS5/8 Grade One studio monitor.

The PM510 S3 sits in Rogers’ BBC-monitor tradition rather than marking a new product category for the company. The announcement and supporting coverage describe a large passive design intended for professional monitoring environments and larger domestic listening spaces.

The cabinet follows the thin-wall, damped enclosure approach associated with BBC monitor engineering. Rogers pairs that construction with real wood veneer and a Tygan grille, while the PM510 S3 retains the external-amplifier approach of the passive PM510.
