Marc Horne takes over HiFi-Profis Frankfurt flagship
Marc Horne has taken over HiFi-Profis’ Frankfurt business after the retailer’s protective restructuring proceedings. The Frankfurt site is the company’s flagship store. HiFi-Profis now operates under AV Media-Projekte GmbH, with Horne as managing director.

Marc Horne has taken over HiFi-Profis Warenhandelsgesellschaft mbH in Frankfurt am Main from restructuring. The deal secures the retailer’s Frankfurt flagship store after protective restructuring proceedings. The takeover agreement was signed in the week before 21 July 2026.
Court-appointed Sachwalter Thomas Rittmeister approved the Frankfurt takeover. The transaction ended the protective restructuring process for HiFi-Profis. Horne had previously taken over HiFi-Profis Verwaltungs- und Handels-GmbH in Wiesbaden in June 2026.
HiFi-Profis is now a company of AV Media-Projekte GmbH, which is based in Wiesbaden. Marc Horne is managing director of AV Media-Projekte GmbH. He had worked for HiFi-Profis for many years and had most recently led the Wiesbaden location.
The Frankfurt store is located at Große Friedberger Str. 23–27 in Frankfurt am Main. The Wiesbaden store is located at Rheinstr. 29 in Wiesbaden. During the restructuring, the Mainz branch was closed and Studio 26 in Stuttgart continued independently.
