Noble Audio has introduced Lu Ban, a hybrid universal in-ear monitor. The model is priced at $1,399.00 in the US. Its driver array combines a 10mm wooden composite dynamic driver with dual Super-Magnetic planar drivers.

The earpieces combine Cocobolo wood with precision 3D-printed resin shells. Lu Ban is rated at 108 dB SPL/mW sensitivity and 27 ohms impedance. The name refers to the legendary Chinese craftsman associated with precision, invention and mastery of materials.

Lu Ban uses 0.78mm 2-pin connectors. The supplied OCC silver-plated cable has a 4.4mm balanced termination. The package includes nine pairs of ear tips and an IEM storage box.
