Skullcandy launches Crusher 1080 ANC and Crusher 720

Skullcandy has launched the Crusher 1080 ANC and Crusher 720 wireless over-ear headphones in the United States. The Crusher 1080 ANC is priced at $279.99, and the Crusher 720 is priced at $209.99. Both models combine Skullcandy Crusher sensory bass technology with spatial-audio features.

Crusher 1080 ANC is the higher-priced new Crusher model. It includes Sound by Bose technology, Bose QuietControl active noise cancellation and Bose TrueSpatial spatial audio. Personal Sound by Mimi is also included. Battery life is rated at up to 60 hours with ANC off and up to 50 hours with ANC on.

Crusher 720 sits below Crusher 1080 ANC in Skullcandy’s current Crusher comparison table. It uses THX Spatial Audio and includes Personal Sound by Mimi. Battery life is rated at up to 65 hours. Its specification includes 40.7mm primary drivers, a 20Hz to 20kHz frequency response and 36-ohm nominal impedance.

Both headphones support Bluetooth 5.3, LE Audio, Auracast and multipoint pairing. Crusher 1080 ANC uses 36mm primary drivers and has a stated 20Hz to 20kHz frequency response. It has a nominal impedance of 36 ohms and weighs 374.2 grams. Crusher 720 weighs 362.8 grams.

Crusher 1080 ANC is offered in True Black, Candy, Primer and Cement finishes. Crusher 720 is offered in Future, Plasma, True Black, Cement and Primer finishes. Both models are listed among Skullcandy’s new arrivals in the United States.
