Schiit Audio launches Vestri portable DAC/headphone amp
The USB-powered model moves Schiit into a pocket-format category while keeping the company’s own digital platform in the signal path. It is aimed at listeners using phones, tablets, computers or streamers as portable sources.

Schiit Audio has launched Vestri, a USB-powered portable DAC/headphone amplifier debuted at CanJam Singapore. The product adds a compact portable option to Schiit’s DAC and headphone amplifier range, with support for both balanced and single-ended headphone use.
Vestri uses Schiit’s Unison USB receiver and Mesh D/A conversion platform, with touch controls placed under a glass front panel. The control set covers volume, NOS mode, phase invert and Loudness, with embedded LEDs used for status indication rather than a screen.
The unit draws power from the connected USB-C source device, including phones, tablets and computers. Schiit lists Vestri as designed and built in the USA, with production on its own SMD assembly line in Corpus Christi, Texas.
