Monitor Audio launches seven-model Silver Series 8G

Monitor Audio announced its new Silver Series 8G loudspeaker range on 17 August 2026. Silver Series 8G is the latest generation of Monitor Audio's Silver loudspeaker family. Across the range, the drive units use C-CAM diaphragms formed with RST III geometry.

The lineup consists of the Silver 50 8G, Silver 100 8G, Silver 300 8G, Silver 500 8G, Silver Centre 8G, Silver AMS 8G and Silver On-Wall 8G. The Silver 50 8G is a bookshelf loudspeaker built as a two-way design. The Silver 100 8G uses a three-way configuration in a standmount loudspeaker format. The Silver 300 8G uses a three-way configuration in a floorstanding loudspeaker format.

The range's high-frequency section combines a C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter with Monitor Audio's UD Waveguide II. The tweeter assembly uses an optimized vented rear chamber and a shorting ring. The range's Silent Flow bass-reflex port uses flare geometry inspired by owl feathers. Through-Bolt Driver Bracing forms part of the cabinet construction.

Three cabinet finishes are offered across Silver Series 8G. They are High Gloss Black, Satin White and European Walnut.

The announced sterling price for the Silver 50 8G was £800 per pair, and the Silver 100 8G was £1,500 per pair. The Silver 300 8G carried an announced sterling price of £2,000 per pair, and the Silver 500 8G was £2,650 per pair. The announced sterling price of the Silver Centre 8G was £800 for each speaker, and the Silver On-Wall 8G was priced at £450 each. The range became available in August 2026.
