Marantz launches MODEL 70 amp and CD 70 CD player

The MODEL 70 is a two-channel integrated amplifier rated at 50W into 8 ohms and priced at €850 in Germany and France. The CD 70 is a CD player with HDAM-SA2 circuitry, USB-A playback and €600 European pricing. The CD 70 is also priced at $750 in the United States and $999 in Canada, with availability beginning 15 August 2026.

Marantz has launched the MODEL 70 integrated amplifier and CD 70 CD player as a matched two-channel system. The MODEL 70 is priced at €850 in Germany and France. The CD 70 is priced at €600 in the same markets, with North American availability attached to the CD player.

The MODEL 70 is a two-channel integrated amplifier built around Marantz HDAM circuitry. It is rated at 50W into 8 ohms and 65W into 4 ohms. The amplifier includes HDMI ARC for TV audio, Bluetooth with aptX Adaptive and an MM phono preamplifier.

The CD 70 uses Marantz HDAM-SA2 circuitry and a high-performance digital-to-analog converter. Its front USB-A input supports FLAC, ALAC and DSD playback. The player has a frequency response of 2Hz to 20kHz and a signal-to-noise ratio of 110dB.

The MODEL 70 measures 442 x 375 x 109mm and weighs 7.9kg. The CD 70 measures 17.40 x 13.82 x 4.29 inches and weighs 14.3lb. The CD 70 is priced at $750 in the United States and $999 in Canada, with availability scheduled to begin on 15 August 2026.
