ICEpower has launched the SC400A2, a new Class-D amplifier module for audio product manufacturers. The module extends the Danish company’s OEM platform range and is positioned for compact hi-fi, streaming amplifier, studio monitor and active loudspeaker designs.
The SC400A2 is the first ICEpower amplifier platform to use the company’s Super Conductor topology. The product page presents it as a module for manufacturers that need a stereo amplifier stage with high output capability and low measured distortion in a compact format.
ICEpower also lists the SC400A2 as compatible with the new 750S power supply module for a complete platform. The submitted audioXpress coverage reports that the module is based on ICEpower’s proprietary ICEedge Class-D chipset and is scheduled for its first demonstration at High End Vienna.
