Campfire Audio has launched Chimera, a new quad-brid in-ear monitor for listeners looking at the upper end of the portable hi-fi market. The Portland company lists the model at $7,500 USD and has opened presales ahead of an estimated early June 2026 shipping window.
Chimera is built around a nine-driver architecture that combines bone conduction, dynamic, balanced-armature and electrostatic driver technologies. It also marks Campfire’s first IEM to use a bone-conduction driver, built into a CNC-machined magnesium shell.
The supplied cable is an ALO Audio Valence-6, a six-wire balanced design. Its inclusion also marks the return of the ALO Audio name within Campfire’s accessory package for this release.
