AMR launches Luna flagship system at High End Vienna

AMR launched its Luna Series flagship audio components at High End Vienna 2026. The range comprises the Luna Ingenii DAC, Luna Medii preamplifier and Luna Procellarum monoblock power amplifier. Pricing is available on request, with availability through AMR's private client programme and selected authorised dealers worldwide.

The Luna Ingenii is the digital source in the system. It uses AMR's three-domain digital-to-analogue conversion platform, combining Philips TDA1541A, Analog Devices AD1862 R-2R and DSD-Direct Stonehenge conversion domains. It supports PCM up to 384 kHz natively and DSD64, DSD128, DSD256 and DSD512 playback.

Ingenii's input set covers LAN, Wi-Fi, AES/EBU, coaxial S/PDIF, optical TOSLINK and HDMI I2S. Streaming support includes Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify Lossless and native Roon. The DAC measures 47 x 48 x 13 cm, matching the published dimensions for the Luna Medii preamplifier.

The Luna Medii uses AMR's patented Zero In-Line Element Volume Control architecture. The Luna Procellarum monoblock power amplifier uses a true four-quadrant fully balanced FET-based topology. Procellarum is rated at 800 W RMS into 8 ohms and 1400 W RMS into 4 ohms, with each power amplifier chassis measuring 85 x 50 x 23 cm.

AMR limits Luna Ingenii production to 176 units, Luna Medii production to 186 units and Luna Procellarum production to 148 units. Luna is AMR's first complete reference system. Abbingdon Music Research was founded in 2001 and is the high-end sister company to iFi.
