Amazon has launched a sixth-generation Echo Dot alongside the Echo Studio with Home Camera. The Echo Dot smart speaker uses Amazon's custom-designed AZ3 processor and a 44mm full-range driver. Both models were available to buy by 29 October 2026.
The Echo Dot incorporates audio signal processing and Omnisense environmental sensing. The sensing technology supports adjustments to room conditions, such as temperature or lighting.
The Echo Studio with Home Camera has a high-excursion 9.5cm woofer and three 5.7cm full-range drivers, with support for Dolby Atmos. Its Advanced Room Adaptation system continuously adjusts the speaker's tuning to the listening space. The model comes in a Graphite finish.
A built-in camera provides visual inputs for Alexa Plus on the Echo Studio with Home Camera. Video calling through a compatible Fire TV device is scheduled to arrive in a future update. That planned feature will allow the camera-equipped smart speaker to support video calls through the compatible Fire TV hardware.
