Monitor Audio launches seven-model Silver Series 8G

Monitor Audio introduced the Silver Series 8G loudspeaker range on 17 August 2026. The range comprises seven models for stereo and multichannel home-cinema configurations. German retail availability begins in mid-August 2026, and the Silver 50 8G has a German MSRP of €998 per pair. The range is offered in gloss black, satin white and walnut real-wood veneer finishes.

The bass and midrange drivers use newly developed C-CAM RST III diaphragms made from ceramic-coated aluminium-magnesium. The 25 mm C-CAM Gold tweeter uses a neodymium ring magnet. The range also uses Uniform Dispersion Waveguide II. The drivers use rear-mounted Single Bolt Through fixing.

The range spans standmount, floorstanding, on-wall, centre-channel and Dolby Atmos formats. The Silver 50 8G uses a 6-inch C-CAM RST III woofer. The three-way Silver 100 8G uses a 3-inch midrange driver and an 8-inch woofer. The Silver 500 8G uses two 8-inch woofers and has a stated maximum output of 119 dB.

The Silver Centre 8G is a three-way centre-channel loudspeaker. It uses two 6-inch woofers and a 3-inch midrange driver. Its stated maximum output is 120 dB. The Silver On-Wall 8G has a stated maximum output of 112 dB.

German MSRPs for the Silver 100 8G and Silver 300 8G are €1,798 and €2,398 per pair, respectively. The Silver 500 8G and Silver AMS 8G cost €3,098 and €1,098 per pair, respectively. The Silver On-Wall 8G and Silver Centre 8G are priced at €549 and €999 each, respectively. German retail availability begins in mid-August 2026.
