LIVEBOX introduces all-in-one system for Vienna 2026

The Swiss project combines loudspeaker, conversion, streaming and room-calibration functions in a single enclosure. It targets listeners who want a self-contained music system rather than a conventional stack of separates.

Georg S. Kuklick

LIVEBOX is bringing a single-enclosure music system to High End Vienna 2026, positioning the product as an all-in-one route into room-aware hi-fi playback. The system combines built-in loudspeakers, digital conversion, amplification, streaming and spatial processing in one wide chassis.

The project is linked to three Swiss audio specialists: Weiss Engineering, PSI Audio and Illusonic. LIVEBOX is described by its own site as using digital-to-analog converter technology from Weiss Engineering and loudspeakers from PSI Audio, with Roger Roschnik of PSI Audio, Daniel Weiss of Weiss Engineering and Christof Faller of Illusonic identified in connection with the project.

Room integration is part of the product brief. LIVEBOX can be measured and calibrated in its listening environment, with a room-specific EQ available where applicable. Control options include a web interface, remote control and gesture sensor, while use cases listed for the system include streaming, TV, Blu-ray, CD, preamplifier and turntable playback with a phono preamp.

LIVEBOX also has two matching furniture options. LIVEBASE Classic presents the system as a standalone design object, while LIVEBASE Adjustable allows the angle of the unit to be set for the listening distance.
