EAT expands balanced phono stages with E-Glo SB and CB

VANA announced North American availability for the EAT E-Glo SB and E-Glo CB on 15 July 2026. The two balanced phono stages sit between the compact E-Glo Petit B and the reference E-Glo FB in EAT's fully balanced phono-stage family. U.S. SRP is $6,250 for the E-Glo SB and $4,599 for the E-Glo CB.

EAT has expanded its balanced phono-stage line with the E-Glo SB and E-Glo CB. VANA announced North American availability on 15 July 2026. The E-Glo SB carries a U.S. SRP of $6,250, while the E-Glo CB is priced at $4,599.

The E-Glo SB is the higher-end of the two new models. It uses a fully tube-based second amplification stage built around two ECC83S triodes and two E88CC triodes. The E-Glo CB takes a hybrid tube-transistor approach, using two ECC83S triodes and one transistor in its second stage.

Both models use fully discrete audio circuitry and three gain stages. Gain settings run from 40dB to 70dB. RIAA accuracy is specified within 0.5dB from 20Hz to 20kHz.

The E-Glo SB and E-Glo CB provide balanced XLR inputs and balanced XLR outputs. They also include RCA inputs and outputs. Each chassis measures 395 × 86 × 262 mm.

The E-Glo SB weighs 5,100 g without its power supply, and the E-Glo CB weighs 5,000 g without its power supply. The two models sit between the E-Glo Petit B and the E-Glo FB in EAT's fully balanced phono-stage family.
