Axign is launching a new generation of all-in-one Class-D amplifier modules for high-efficiency audio systems. The products move the company’s amplifier-control technology into plug-and-play modules aimed at compact, high-power applications.
Axign is a Dutch audio technology company that was acquired by Monolithic Power Systems. The company’s official technology material describes a Class-D feedback approach that takes full-audio-bandwidth feedback from behind the output filters and converts it at ultra-high speeds.
The new module platform combines predictive feedforward processing with post-filter feedback for real-time adaptive signal processing. The reported architecture is intended to adjust operation across changing speaker, cable, power-supply and enclosure conditions, with listener-adjustable tuning parameters also described for the platform.
