Dirac Live Bass Control
NAD adds Dirac Live Bass Control to BluOS amplifiers
The software update broadens bass-management options for owners of several current and earlier NAD streaming models. It brings paid Dirac bass optimisation into the same ecosystem as existing room-correction support, with availability handled through the BluOS platform.

NAD Electronics has added Dirac Live Bass Control support to selected BluOS-enabled streaming amplifiers. The product update extends low-frequency room optimisation and subwoofer integration to named NAD models already using the BluOS platform.
The update is aimed at systems where speaker, subwoofer and room interaction affect bass consistency across the listening area. Dirac Live Bass Control works alongside Dirac Live Room Correction and is described by NAD as optimising speakers, subwoofers and room acoustics together for improved bass integration and consistency.
For NAD owners, the practical change is software-based access to Dirac’s bass-management layer on supported hardware. The named model list spans current and previous-generation streaming products, including both Masters Series amplifiers and the C 658 BluOS Streaming DAC.
