Phono-1 LX
Vertere launches Phono-1 LX compact phono preamplifier
The new model continues the Phono-1 line with internal revisions rather than a visual reset. It is aimed at MM and MC cartridge users who want a compact, adjustable phono stage in Vertere’s established range.

Vertere has launched the Phono-1 LX, a compact MM/MC phono preamplifier and the latest development of its Phono-1 platform. The launch is relevant to vinyl users already familiar with the line because the changes focus on circuit, power and grounding revisions rather than a new feature-led format.
The LX follows earlier Phono-1 versions, including the MkII update in 2019 and the Phono-1 MkII L in 2022. The new model keeps close to the established Phono-1 visual format while adopting changes inside the unit and to the outer casework.
Vertere’s current Phono-1 product information describes the platform as configurable for both moving-magnet and moving-coil cartridges, with cartridge-matching adjustments for gain, resistance and capacitance. The LX continues that positioning as a small phono stage intended to sit within a wider analogue system rather than replace cartridge setup flexibility with a fixed configuration.
