T+A launches A 3100 HV power amplifier for HV-Series
The A 3100 HV is T+A’s new HV-Series stereo power amplifier and successor to the A 3000 HV. It is rated at 300W per channel into 8 ohms and 500W per channel into 4 ohms in stereo High Power mode. U.S. MSRP is $29,900, with silver and titanium finishes available.

T+A has launched the A 3100 HV, a stereo power amplifier for its HV-Series. The Herford-built model began shipping through authorized dealers on 9 July 2026 and has a U.S. MSRP of $29,900. It succeeds the A 3000 HV and is available in silver or titanium finishes.
The A 3100 HV uses T+A HV technology and includes more than 270 effective changes and iterations from the company’s prior architecture. Its selectable High Current mode allows up to 75W of pure Class A operation. The amplifier can also be configured for mono operation.
T+A rates the amplifier at 300W per channel into 8 ohms and 500W per channel into 4 ohms in stereo High Power mode. The power supply uses a 1,000-watt toroidal transformer, twelve low-ESR reservoir capacitors and 120,000µF of filtering. The amplifier has a frequency response of 0.5Hz to 180kHz at +0/-3dB, a signal-to-noise ratio greater than 115dB and a slew rate of 60V/µs.
The A 3100 HV is intended for use with reference pre-amplifiers rather than as an integrated amplifier. It includes a trigger input for remote switch-on. The chassis measures 17 x 46 x 46cm and weighs 38kg.
